The GOLF CHANNEL Amateur Tour 2008 season will culminate with Senior National Championship, Team Championship and National Championship in Orlando.

 

Senior National Championship

When: Wednesday - Saturday, October 8th - 11th, 2008

 

In 2008, Seniors will get a week to themselves.  The 2008 Senior National Championship will feature 450 of the elite senior tour members from across the country competing in a 72 hole stroke play tournament.

How to qualify: 1) Win or place 2nd in your flight at a Regional Major, 2) finish in the top 20% in order of merit points in your flight after the first half of the season, 3) finish in the top 20% in order of merit points in your flight (not already qualified) after the second half of the season, 4) finish in the top 10% of finishers (not already qualified) in your flight at the Atlanta Tour Championship.

 

In order to be eligible for the Senior National Championship, you must play a minimum of 5 rounds on Tour.

The 2008 National Championship will feature up to 600 of the elite tour members from across the country competing in a 72 hole stroke play tournament with a cut taking place after the third round.
