The GOLF CHANNEL Amateur Tour offers individual, stroke play golf tournaments for players of all skill levels and abilities. Players are placed in a flight based on
a verifiable USGA handicap index and/or the tour index developed
from previous years' play. Members compete for prizes and the chance at qualifying for
the Atlanta Tour Championship and the National Tour Championship.
The GOLF CHANNEL Amateur Tour offers great competition and prizes and allows players to maintain their amateur status.

2008 is our seventh season. The tour membership is
limited to the first 300 APPROVED members. Our tournaments
usually sell out quickly, are normally
limited to the first 90 applicants and play is usually in threesomes.

The GOLF CHANNEL Amateur Tour is run for golfers, by golfers.
We want to meet your needs. The 2008 season is our seventh season in
Atlanta. The
scores,
stats and standings from each city are posted
every week on the national website throughout the season so
that players nationwide can track players from Atlanta and
other cities as the season unfolds. Based
on your order of merit points at the end of the season, you
can qualify for the Atlanta Tour Championship and the
national
post season events
such as the Team Championship and the National Championship.
